Quality Testing & Approvals

Our customers can call on our laboratory resources to assist with quality assurance or pre-contract acceptance testing, or to help formulate welding procedures for special applications. All equipment is calibrated and operated by competent engineers.

Our analytical laboratories at Rainham and Derby are equipped for the preparation and examination of welds, and are regularly used in conjunction with our NDT resources for preparing reports for weld approval by the project client or Track Authority.

Approval testing is undertaken in accordance with the requirements of Pr EN 14730 pt 1 and 2.
