Technical Information

We maintain a large library of technical reports, archive literature, and weld data which we use to assist the client in preparing quality plans and technical specifications for major projects and provide welding procedures, training plans, and on-site Quality Control and Inspection standards when required.

We will also provide our customers with literature to support the welding processes, procedures training and specific products.

Operating Manuals provide the detailed instructions for the welding processes, descriptions of the equipment and general information for rail identification, and selection of consumables. Manuals are available to purchase as either CDROM (Controlled issue) or as A4 ring bound books (A5 available for SkV-E and L). Manuals are also available for weld instructors and VERSE equipment operators.

Our Product Information and Technical Data Sheets provide a brief description of specific items with our part numbers and where appropriate the Network Rail catalogue number. Safety information is provided to all who purchase and use our Thermit® consumables for COSHH purposes. We release Technical Bulletins to all registered users of our processes and selected bulletins are available for download.
