With support from our technical, production and R+D departments, our welding resources have the capability to undertake highly challenging work where specialist knowledge is required, or new applications where welding methods or materials have to be developed.

The Goldschmidt Thermit Group (GTG) is committed to introducing new technology, and our welding resources are utilized during the development and subsequent field trials as these processes are introduced into the industry. In addition to Aluminothermic processes, we have been involved in  developing a Gas Pressure welding capability in order to provide an installation service for a joint comparable with flash butt welds, as well as developing Open-arc and Submerged-arc techniques.
